Sea Hames is the latest outdoor performance project from leading theatre company Oceanallover. Inspired by  ‘The Festival of the Horse and Boys’ Ploughing Match’ this multi-disciplinary performance fuses sonic composition, compelling performance and intricate costume to explore the equine traditions of Scotland. We’ll be performing at Earl’s Palace, Kirkwall (Thurs 17th Aug: 1 pm), Scapa Flow Visitor Centre, Hoy (Fri 18th Aug: 12noon) and the Boys’ Ploughing Match, St Margaret’s Hope (Sat 19th Aug: 1 pm).

We’ll also be offering a performance workshop on Wed 16th Aug from 2 pm to 4 pm at Gable End Theatre on Hoy where attendees will be offered a unique opportunity to meet Oceanallover and take part in a lively workshop exploring movement and devising techniques.  Workshop participants are welcome from age 14+ upwards and should wear loose clothing.  To book a place on the workshop contact weareferal@outlook.com or 01856791312.
