As part of the Scapa Flow project a creative quilting workshop and exibition will be held in the Hoy Kirk - opening times to be confirmed.

Scapa Flow Landscape Partnership are unveiling a plaque at Lyness to commemorate the work of Ernest Cox, of the salvage firm Cox & Danks, who raised many of the ships of the WW1 German High Seas Fleet.

There will be a presentation of artefacts to the Scapa Flow Visitor Centre and Museum at 10.30am in the museum, followed by a short ceremony outside the waiting room on Lyness Pier at 11.00
